Regenerative Braking Control Strategy Based on AI Algorithm to Improve Driving Comfort of Autonomous Vehicles

Recent studies on autonomous vehicles focus improving driving efficiency and ignore comfort. Because acceleration jerk affect comfort, we propose a comfort regenerative braking system (CRBS) that uses artificial neural networks as vehicle-control strategy for conditions. An vehicle is mainly determined by the control algorithm of vehicle. If passenger’s initially predicted based deceleration limits, can be adjusted, which would helpful to improve ride in vehicles. We implement numerical analysis strategy, ensuring reduced In addition, backward propagation was applied estimate force limits systems more accurately. The developed verified through Car Sim MATLAB/Simulink simulations comparing them with conventional system. proposed CRBS offers effective within ensures increased passengers.
